Walang mkakaligtas sa Villa Asela :S

An overnight celebration (supposedly!) in Villa Asela, Cordova which turned out to be a disaster! X-(

We went to Villa Asela for an overnight swimming last July 1, 2009 (wed). They had us rent a room in order to stay overnight, so we did. They said at first that only 2 people can occupy a room (650php). We already knew that there are 4 beds in each room (we were there before) so we questioned WHY only 2 people are allowed per room, and they retract and told us that 4 people are allowed in a room (duh!). So we rented two rooms.

Time check – 8 pm

We hurriedly set the grills, etc. (we were not able to bring a knife, bowls, and other churva with us so we’ll leave it up to you to guess how we managed to marinate and grill our food — pork belly and hotdog!).

Eat! Munch! Gulp! Chew! Ate!!!

Time check – 11pm

Inumz and swimming time!!

Eng! Eng! Eng! As we were about to go to the pool, we were suddenly interrupted by the Life Guard (drunk!) telling us that they are closing the pool in 30mins (11:30pm) for chlorination (whatda!!). What’s the purpose of having an overnight swimming if they’ll close the pool BEFORE midnight (they did NOT inform us in the first place! There are no posters/placards/banners/notifications anywhere!) , they even had us rent rooms! What do they expect us to do overnight?? Sleep?!!? We can do that at home without having to pay anything. They wont delay the chlorination (done by the Life Guard) because he’s already drunk and sleepy.

………………………..blah.. blah……

We ended up paying for the “per head” and the cottage (not used). They refunded us with the room payment. We left and decided to continue our inuman session at our bhauz.

Time check – 12 midnight (or so..)

It was already very late and there are hardly any vehicle passing by.

…….(miracle happened)…….. We saw an approaching jeepney. Huray! We didn;t bother to check the jeepney’s route, we dashed to get in (we need to get out of this place- fast!). Just a few kilometers away, i dont know what exactly happened to the jeepney, but it just wont run anymore (looking at the jeepney itself, you will know it won’t last long — it’s history). PS: We are sorry to the other passengers that were inflicted with our “bad luck”. I don’t know what happened to them. By the time the jeep was stuck on the road (with a couple of men trying to fix it), another jeepney went by and we got on it.

So much for all the karma, we managed to continue our inuman session and called it a day!
